Trailblazer Creamed Corn

Ingredients

  • 56 oz bag of frozen corn

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

  • 2 cups of milk (whole preferred)

  • 2 tsp Fire Wrangler Cattle Call All-Purpose

  • 4 Tbsp sugar

  • 1 cube melted butter

  • 6 Tbsp flour

  • Fresh grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Fire Wrangler Trailblazer

Directions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a saucepan or pot, combine the frozen corn, heavy cream, milk, Fire Wrangler Cattle Call seasoning, and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil.

  2. Thicken the Creamed Corn: In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter with the flour. Once the corn mixture is boiling, add the butter-flour mix and let it simmer for a few minutes until it thickens. If the desired thickness isn’t achieved, add more butter-flour mixture gradually until you reach the consistency you like.

  3. Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the creamed corn mixture into a 9x12 casserole pan.

  4. Top and Broil: Sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan cheese and dust with Fire Wrangler Trailblazer seasoning. Place the casserole under the broiler until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

  5. Make-Ahead Option: This dish is perfect for preparing in advance. Prepare the creamy mixture, transfer it to the pan, and refrigerate. When ready to serve, reheat in the oven and finish with parmesan under the broiler.
