Citrus-Marinated Skirt Steak

Ingredients

  • 3-4 lbs skirt steak, trimmed with excess fat removed

  • Fire Wrangler’s Zesty Ranchero seasoning

  • ½ bottle orange juice

  • 8 oz lime juice

    1. In a large dish, marinate the skirt steak in the orange and lime juices for 3 hours in the refrigerator.

    2. After marinating, remove the steak, pat it dry, and season generously with Zesty Ranchero seasoning or your preferred fajita seasoning.

    2. Place the skirt steak directly above the coals (about 5-8 inches) and flip every 2 minutes. After the 6-minute mark, occasionally baste with spray oil to achieve a crispy crust.

    3. Move the steak around the grill as needed to avoid hot spots and ensure even cooking.

    4. Remove the steak from the coals when it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F.
